Dr Hayder Ameer
BSc BDS PG Dip(CAIT)
Principal Dentist

Dr Ameer is the Principal Dentist of Goodwyn Dental Practice in Mill (North West London). He has special interest in restorative dentistry and facial aesthetics with 14 years of experience. Having completed a degree in Biomedical Sciences (2008) and Dentistry (2012), he received post-graduate training at the prestigious UCL Eastman Dental Institute. He focused his Core Dental Training in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery and Paediatric Dentistry. Dr Ameer qualified as a Member of the Royal College of Surgeons in 2014.

Dr Ameer excelled to a Master’s (Level 7) qualification in Aesthetic Medicine & Injectable Therapies at Harley Street and became a co-director and tutor at the School of Aesthetic Medicine. As a portrait artist, Hayder has a particular attention to details and facial proportions, vital qualities in the planning and delivery of his aesthetic treatments.

Anita Nesadurai

Anita qualified in dentistry over 30 years ago and has been a family general dental practitioner for the past 22 years. She has postgraduate qualifications in Oral Surgery from the prestigious Eastman Dental School and a Fellowship from the Royal College of Surgeons. She enjoys all aspects of general dentistry and is passionate about preventative dentistry as healthy teeth and gums are essential for good health. Anita has a calm, caring and patient manner which helps nervous patients relax in the dental chair.

Outside of work, Anita enjoys time with her family and long walks with their rescue terrier who spends more time sniffing rather than walking! She is a keen cook and loves reading and watching crime dramas.

Savan Shah

Savan graduated in Dentistry with 1st Class Honours at Cardiff University in 2011 (Bachelor Of Dental Surgery), Savan had his first publication in the ‘Dental Update’ as a final year student, one of the biggest dental journals. After completing his DFT training in Hertford, East of England, Savan spent a year as a Senior House officer position in Oral & Maxillofacial surgery at the Luton, QEII and Lister Hospitals (2012-2013), and attained an award for East of England Junior Paper’s Day winner (AUDIT project). During this time he was awarded Membership to the Joint Dental Faculties by Royal College of Surgeons, England. Since 2013 he has had varied experience in practice settings, working as an Associate Dentist and a Dentist with Special Interest in Endodontics.

Savan is committed to post-graduation education and strives to provide the highest level of dental care to all his patients using the most up-to-date dental techniques, placing patient care as his top priority. Savan has completed this Post Graduate Diploma in Advanced Endodontics, Aesthetic & Restorative Dentistry with Aspire Dental Academy (2014-2020). He is committed to further Post-Graduate Endodontic Training, having completed his Post Graduate Diploma in Advanced Endodontics and has recently successfully completed an MSC Program in Endodontics (2020-22, Simply Endodontics, University of Chester). Savan is a member of the British Endodontic Society. He has a gentle approachable manner and always ensures that his patients are put at ease in his care and is passionate in delivering the highest quality care to his patients. He was awarded a finalist award in 2023 in the Clinical Dentistry Awards in the Endodontic Retreatment Category.

Outside of the dental world, Savan has a great passion for sports and participates in the Harrow and Wembley table tennis league and plays football regularly. Savan always strives to help the less fortunate and has taken part in several challenges in aid of charity, including multiple triathlons, and several football marathons. He has successfully completed five Olympic distance London Triathlon, and most recently the London Marathon. This year, he is running the Manchester Marathon and Berlin Marathons in 2024 to support children in need in Berlin and Kenya.

Pushpa Bhattarai

Pushpa graduated back in Nepal as a general dentist in 2018. Registered in the General Dental Council since 2021 as a dental hygienist, she is really passionate about what she is doing at the moment. Her empathetic nature towards all patients who cross the threshold of the practice is remarkable.

She is an avid advocate of atraumatic treatment and her procedures reflect this philosophy. She believes in the age old mantra of Prevention is always better than cure. She does an amazing job at preventing and treating diseases of the gums. She likes open communication with the patients to make them an active part of their treatment plan.

In her spare time, she likes to spend time with her family, though she would not say no to exploring new surroundings!

Leah Gibson

Leah first started out in dentistry in 2013 as a trainee dental nurse, qualifying with a national diploma in dental nursing in 2015. After deciding to take the next step in her dental career, she moved to London in 2017 to study at Eastman Dental Hospital. She graduated with a diploma in Dental Hygiene in 2019 and has been working at Goodwyn Dental Practice since 2020.

Outside of work Leah enjoys reading, cooking and spending time with friends and family.

Nadia Vajihi
Dental Hygienist and Therapist

Nadia Vajihi is a Dental Hygienist and Therapist with over 19 years of experience. She graduated from the University of Portsmouth in 2007 with a BSc in Dental Hygiene and Therapy.

Nadia is passionate about caring for her patients and takes pride in creating a calm and comfortable environment, especially for those who may feel nervous about dental visits. She has a gentle approach and focuses on prevention, gum health, and helping patients feel confident in their smiles.

Since 2023, Nadia has also trained in facial aesthetics, including dermal fillers, anti-wrinkle treatments, and skin boosters. She also has a keen interest in skincare, supporting a more holistic approach to overall patient care.

Faye Stanley

Faye has been with us since 2015 & graduated as a dental nurse in 2018. Faye has experience in nursing with dental specialists & general dentists. Faye likes to attend hot yoga & the gym outside of work. Faye also has a passion for completing 1,000 piece puzzles and singing in the community choir! Faye is also a successful dancer & has been dancing professionally since the age of 6! Faye is funny, bubbly, outgoing and an outstanding member of the team.

Sarah Mythen

Sarah is a busy mum of two boys. Chatting to our patients about things other than school and football is her idea of heaven. She qualified as a dental assistant in 2017 and it was the best thing she ever made. She says “No two days are the same and I love meeting and putting our patients at ease prior to their treatment.

Zoe Morphi

Zoe has been at the practice since 2020 and qualified in 2022. One of the younger members of staff, she is extremely capable and gets along with everybody. She is always very happy and willing to lend a hand. Zoe is very adaptable, and she is able to nurse with all dentists and specialists, and you may see her on reception from time to time. Zoes interests include reading, travelling, baking, and seeing friends. She also loves animals and has a dog called spike.

Dasoulla Gonis

Dasoulla has been at the Practice for over 30 years and is a familiar face here at Goodwyn dental. Daz is always smiling and gets on with all members of staff and being an experienced member of the team
 
she is able to work with everyone including specialists and reception. Daz lives with her husband and her two grown-up daughters, as well as her dog spike who she enjoys taking out for long walks. She also qualified as a sports therapist and has been for 15 years. On her days off, as she enjoys spending time with family, catching up on her soaps, and cooking traditional Cypriot dishes.
